On October 22, 2024, the Hanns Seidel Foundation participated in the Conference “2nd Reflections on Transboundary Cooperation for Sustainable Ocean and Coastal Areas” hosted by the Korean Maritime Institute (KMI) and the Queen’s University Belfast (QUB). The conference brought together experts and organisations to share their knowledge and reflections on maritime law, maritime spatial planning and the conservation of migratory birds and their habitats which are often situated in wetlands.

On October 8, 2024, the Hanns Seidel Foundation, together with the KCPC (Korea Council for Peace and Cooperation) and EURAXESS, hosted a symposium on “The U.S. Presidential Election and Foreign Policy Implications for Korea and East Asia”. The symposium brought together experts and organizations to share their knowledge.
