Mr. Brehm’s presentation contained a quick review on the German unification, followed by a personal and peer-reviewed assessment on the outcomes of the unification and its meanings in the context of the contemporary Germany. He concluded with the probable lessons for a Korean process out of the experiences made in the German model.

The other speakers were contributing with several presentations followed by discussions and statements. The event was meant to target a younger audience to raise awareness in relation to the issue of “unification” as the interest in such seems to deteriorate among the Korean youth.
