World Migratory Bird Day 2018

On May 11th, Celebration of 2018 World Migratory Bird Day by East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP) was held in Grand Hyatt Hotel, Seoul. Dr. Bernhard Seliger (Representative of HSS Korea), Dr. Choi Hyun Ah (Senior Researcher), Felix Glenk (Project Manager) and Yeobin Yoon (Researcher) participated in the event. World Migratory Bird Day is an annually celebrated awareness-raising campaign aiming to inspire the worldwide conservation of both migratory birds and their environments.

Launched in 2006, the EAAFP is a network of partners - including governments (South Korea, China et al.), inter-governmental agencies (Ramsar convention on wetlands et al.), NGOs (Hanns Seidel Foundation, WWF et al.) and partners from the international business sector. In April 2016, Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea became the 35th member of the EAAFP.
