On 7 November 2018 the Workshop on Ecological Unification Strategy in Korean peninsula was held at Kangwon National University (KNU) organised by The Professors World Peace Academy (PWPA) and Inter-Korean Forest Cooperation Research Institute (IKFCRI), KNU. Dr Thomas Selover, Chairperson of PWPA gave a welcome remarks and Prof Jong-Choon Woo, Chariperson of IKFCRI gave a special lecture for a workshop.

Dr Hyun-Ah Choi, Senior researcher of Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Korea also attended the workshop as a panellist to share the experience of HSF’s work in DPRK and possible approaches for inter-Korean Cooperation. The speakers and participants shared their opinion for inter-Korean Cooperation – especially, DMZ area and biodiversity conservation.
