Virtual Lecture Series on Green Growth IV

On September 29, the 4th Green Growth Virtual Lecture was held with the participation of the Ministry of Land, Environment and Protection (MoLEP) and the Hanns Seidel Foundation. In this lecture, experts from the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) gave presentations on various topics.

Green growth aims to stimulate economic growth and development while ensuring that natural assets continue to provide the resources and environmental services upon which human well-being depends. Green growth has also been discussed as a means of linking sustainable development goals (SDGs) and effective responses to climate change. The online lecture series "Green Growth" has already covered a wide range of topics related to green growth development. The fourth seminar in the online lecture series provides an overview of the various indicators of green growth.

The speakers presented the concept and application of the green growth index, green growth transition - accelerating environmentally sustainable and socially inclusive economic growth, and furthermore, creating green jobs through sustainable economic recovery. Questions and discussions were possible based on the published materials. An intern of Hanns Seidel Foundation, Anna-Lena Klein, attended to this seminar, and the representative Dr. Seliger gave a welcoming remark.
