Also in the past weeks we had some enriching encounters and fruitful knowledge exchanges with respected colleagues.

Rural Research Institute (RRI) of Korea Rural Corporation is HSF Korea’s partner organization and has organized the inter-Korean agriculture cooperation forum with HSF Korea from 2017.

On 19 October 2020 Dr Bernhard Seliger, representative of HSF Korea and Dr Hyun-Ah Choi visited RRI to share the information related to agriculture issue and natural disaster reduction on the Korean Peninsula.

On September 28, Dr Seliger had a very interesting talk with Kang Ji-Eun, Senior Research Associate at the Korea Development Institute, and her colleague, on the upcoming anniversary of 30 years of German unification for one of KDI's flagship publications: Nara Kyongje (나라경제; nara.kdi.re.kr). Reminiscences, not only because of 30 years of German unification (which Dr Seliger experienced as a conscript in the Bundeswehr), but also because Kang Ji-Eun was one of his students at the Graduate School of International and Area Studies of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies two decades ago.
