Online Seminar

On the 6th of May, Dr. Bernhard Seliger, representative of Hanns Seidel Foundation in Korea (HSF), participated in a new series of webinars, regarding the current situation on the Korean peninsula.

The times of the corona pandemic require new forms of communication and cooperation. The headquarter of Hanns-Seidel-Foundation in Munich started a new series of online seminars with representatives of the foundation from all over the world. Dr. Bernhard Seliger was honored to be the 7th speaker in this series, talking about the actual situation on the Korean peninsula, and in particular in North Korea. 120 people attended this (German-speaking) lecture, and the interest of the participants resulted in a lively discourse. It was a great honor that our retired former chairwoman, Prof. Ursula Männle, the head of our Institute of International Relations, Dr. Susanne Luther, and many colleagues, including Jan Dresel from Moscow, participated in the event. Special thanks goes to Margarethe Stadlbauer and Philipp von Thun, who organized, prepared and led through the event.
