Korea Carbon Forum 2019

The Korea Carbon Forum 2019 was held on 5th September in Pyeongchang, Korea. This forum was started in 2017 to establish cooperation, international partnership, and diffusion of the infrastructure of the practical Low Carbon Industry with neighboring countries. HSF Korea also participated.

This year’s main topic is to implement the Low Carbon Society with carbon strategy technology, and lead of the new Southern policy of Korea.
Also, Gangwon Province had issued Low carbon Independence Declaration with the representative of Uganda, Nepal, Vietnam, and Bhutan during the forum.
The speakers and participants shared ideas for Low Carbon society through the carbon strategy technology and discussed the importance of reducing greenhouse gas emission.
Dr. Hyun-Ah Choi, the Senior researcher of HSF Korea, also attended the forum to share expertise and information with other experts.
