HSF Conference about German Reunification

The conference is organized in cooperation with the Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administrations Center for International Development Evaluation (CIDE) and Research Institute of Public Information Management.

As this year marks the 30th anniversary of the Fall of the Berlin Wall we decided to bring expert from different fields and backgrounds together to share their knowledge and experiences with dealing with the chances and challenges coming with that,  furthermore we decided to take this opportunity and reflect on the situation on the Korean peninsula. Focus is on the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989, and the subsequent transformation processes in East Germany and Central and Eastern Europe as well as their meaning for North-South Korean cooperation, with special respect to administrative changes and challenges.
