Partners of HSF Korea

Dr. Isabelle Harbrecht, the Head of the Northeast- and Central Asia Division of Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) in Munich, Germany visited Korea for the first time in November 2019 and met up with partner organizations and institutions, while being accompanied by HSF Korea representatives.

On Tuesday, the 26th of November 2019 Dr. Isabelle Harbrecht, Dr. Bernhard Seliger, Representative of HSF Korea, Dr Hyun-Ah Choi and Mr Felix Glenk visited the OJeong Eco-Resilience Institute (OJERI) at Korea University.

Dr Seliger and Prof Woo-Kyun Lee, Director of OJERI signed a Memorandum of Understanding to closely collaborate in Korean Peninsula and Mid-Latitude Region. HSF Korea and OJERI will cooperate n the field of Environmental and Ecological Resilience such as ecological restoration, enhancing eco-resilience, climate change adaptation, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) implementation, etc. in Korean Peninsula and Mid-Latitude Region.

Aside from Dr. Isabelle Harbrecht’s participation in different conferences and seminars, she also had political discussions with partners of HSF. Dr. Harbrecht is successor to Willi Lange, who retired recently from the same position.
