The new edition of THE UNIFIED KOREA (July 2017)

The new edition of the magazine “The Unified Korea”, which deals with topics concerning Korean unification, has been published by the Institute for Peace Affairs, a long-standing partner of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Korea. This edition explores the US-ROK alliance on account of the new Trump and Moon presidencies.

This edition (July 2017) features, among others, the following topics: 

An article about the challenges and opportunities as well as the new milestones in the US-ROK alliance under the administration of President Trump and President Moon.

An article about the THAAD controversy and North Korea’s missile testing with President Trump’s stance on requesting South Korea to increase its share on defense costs.

An interview of Dr. Bernhard Seliger, representative of Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea, on considerations that the new Moon administrations should undertake on its unification policies (You can read Dr. Seliger's interview and the article on North Korean agriculture here).
