The HSF Korea Office welcomed a Korean High School Intern

From August 7th-11th, the Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea was glad to welcome a Korean student in the office and introduce her to the work the foundation accomplishes on a daily basis.

Ms. Hee-won Choi, a second grade student from the Munsan High School, was eager to assist the HSF Korea staff and getting deeper insights into the organization and its projects. She also attended a meeting in our office and conducted her own peer-group research on the Korean unification, which you can read here.

The activity was part of a voluntary internship during the school summer break, which indicates Ms. Choi’s profound interest and enthusiasm in working on research relating to the Korean peninsula, environmental projects and international relations despite the troublesome summer heat.

The HSF Korea staff gratefully appreciated Ms. Choi’s efforts and wishes her much success for the coming school term.
