Teaching Teachers About the German Reunification

On August 31, 2018, KIM, Young-Soo, Project Manager of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Seoul, gave a special lecture on German unity at the Jangdo Primary School in Incheon. The audience consisted of about 20 primary school teachers in Incheon who are interested in and preparing for the reunification of Korea. The experiences of German division and reunification offer Korea many ideas and suggestions on how Korea should prepare for the upcoming unity and what can be learned from its positive and negative aspects. This special lecture came at the request of Ms. Lee, Jong-Sook, teacher at the Jangdo Primary School in Incheon, who took part in a study trip organized by the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Seoul in 2016.
