Summer Festival of the German Speaking Parishes 2018

On May 26th, 2018, the German Community Summer Charity Festival took place. It was hosted by the German Speaking Parishes at the German School Seoul International in Hannam, Seoul. Participants enjoyed interacting with one another, eating German food, and drinking different beverages. German sausages, cheese buns, pretzels, coleslaw, Korean traditional dishes, and drinks were provided. The Hanns Seidel Foundation took part by setting up a booth to sell cheese buns and wine.

The purpose of the event was to fundraise for the charity activities of the German-speaking and Korean parishes. All proceeds will be used to engage in six social projects in Seoul and surrounding areas.

The Hanns Seidel Foundation staff enjoyed the German ambience of the festival and thank everyone who came and contributed to the event. We hope to see many of you again at next year’s festival.
