One member of the provincial legislative assembly and 31 officials of the Gyeonggi administration as well as town and district administrations participated in the study trip. The attendants visited Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, Mödlareuth, München and Neufahrn at Freising. The travel locations included the Federal Agency for Civic Education, the Federal Foundation for the Review of the SED Dictatorship, the embassy of the Republic of Korea, the memorial site at the Round Corner in Leipzig, the historical Forum Leipzig, the Nikolai-Church in Leipzig, the Town Hall Dresden, the memorial site Bautzner Strasse Dresden, the Green Link in the Vogt-district, the German-German Museum in Mödlareuth, the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Munich as well as the parish Neufahrn at Freising.

The participants met with different consultants, witnesses, researchers, experts along other individuals during the study trip, who have been working on the issue ‘Reunification’ for a long time. The Korean delegation could gather new perspectives, information and suggestions in Germany, which they can use for the future Korean Unification process. All the participants were highly satisfied with the trip and thus the event will presumably be continued next year.
