'Solidarity', based on the 11th German-Korean Colloquium, published in March 2018

From 11th to 13th October 2017, Korean and German scientists met for the 11th Korean-German Colloquium. In March 2018, the book 'Solidarity' was published based on this colloquium.

The topic of the three-day event was “Solidarity”, spanning a wide field of topics: political solidarity, solidarity between South and North Korea, East and West Germany, fiscal solidarity, solidarity in families, labor and church (Here you can find the report of the colloquium). The book is the result of the colloquium and it containins the presentations from the event.

Prof. Kim Yonghae (Sogang Univ.), one of the co-directors of the Colloquium, was the editor of this publishment. It also includes the presentation "Experiences of Solidarity between East and West Germany" from Dr. Bernhard Seliger (Representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation Seoul office). The Colloquium is co-organized by Sogang University in Korea and Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt in Germany, and co-sponsored by Hanns-Seidel-Foundation. The next Colloquium will again be held in Eichstätt in Germany next year.
