Side Event at the Ramsar Convention

The side event, which will take place on October 24th from 6:15pm to 7:30pm, a variety of topics in regard to DPR Korea and Ramsar Convention will be discussed, and the launch of the “2nd National Wetland Inventory of the DPR Korea” will be celebrated.

The 13th meeting of the Contracting Parties of the Ramsar Convention will take place on October 21st to 29th, 2018. During a side event with the title “Implementation of the Ramsar Convention in the DPR Korea and launch of the ‘2nd National Wetland Inventory of the DPR Korea’” on October 24th from 6:15pm to 7:30pm, a variety of topics will be discussed, e.g. the implementation of the 4th Ramsar Strategic Plan and wetland CEPA activities, the update on the status of Ramsar Sites and other key wetlands in the country as well as a rapid assessment of wetland ecosystem services at Ramsar Sites.
