OJERI, established in 2014, is the center of the Asia resilience network which aims to improve ecological resilience and contribute to creating a sustainable society. During Tuesday’s seminar, Professor LEE Woo-Kyun, Director of OJERI, and his team predicted the flood and drought impact in North Korea and suggested a diagnosis model using spatial information such as satellite imagery and Soil & Water Assessment Tool. Mr. NOH Min-Woo, Researcher of OJERI explained the analysis process using Environmental Spatial Information. Dr KIM Young-Bong, President of Center for Korean Prosperity presented a cooperative framework of South-North shared river - Imjin and North Han River basin. Dr. CHOI Hyun-Ah, Senior Researcher of HSF Korea also attended the seminar and gave a presentation about North Korea’s activities related to SDGs and DRR strategy at the national level.
