Meeting
Programme Planning in Munich

In Munich, the strategic team of HSF Korea and the Department of East Asia and Central Asia of HSF met to discuss the priorities of work in Korea for the next three years.

The main goal of HSF in Korea, to contribute to reconciliation on the Korean Peninsula, is supported by a number of activities in South Korea, North Korea and adjacent countries. Among them are conferences, trainings, meetings in a variety of fields, among them prominently environmental issues like the protection of bio-diversity, sustainable forestry and rural development. In particular, HSF also promotes German-Korean county twinning with counties in the inter-Korean border area and the former inner-German border, like Goseong County and Bayreuth county, Yeoncheon county and Hof county and Cheolwon county and Bad Hersfeld-Rotenburg county.
