Meetings in Daejeon for Cooperation in the forestry field

Dr. Seliger, Representative of Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea and Dr. Choi Hyun-ah, Senior researcher of HSF Korea, visited Deajeon to cooperate with Korea Forest Academy Foundation (KFAF) and Korea Forest Service (KFS) on 27th March 2017.

The visit to the KFAF was a first contact to discuss the possibility of a future cooperation in the field of forestry. For starting the cooperation between HSF Korea and KFAF, Dr. Seliger and Mr. Cho Yon-hwon, Chairman of the KFAF board shared experience and information.

 

HSF Korea and KFS already have are in contact and have supported each other’s activities. For future cooperation between HSF Korea and KFS, Dr. Seliger explained HSF’s forest and environment projects to Dr. Chun, Bom-kwon, Director General of Forest Industry and Policy Bureau, and his colleagues.

 

HSF Korea, KFAF, and KFS will cooperate closely in the forestry field.
