Internship
Introduction new interns

Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Korea continues offering internship experiences for aspiring specialists.

HSF is pleased to welcome three new research interns in July!

At HSF Korea, our interns are provided with a multitude of opportunities to engage with professionals in their respective fields, delve into comprehensive research, assist with daily organizational tasks, and experience the dynamics of networking. Interns are guaranteed a chance to acquire valuable hands-on experience in inter-Korean relations, environmentalism, and development.

Please find the presentations of our three new interns below!

→ “My name is Sophia Grill and I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Regensburg. Currently, I am a student in the Computational Social Science Master’s program at Linköping University in Sweden. I have been interested in inter-Korean relations and unification efforts for years, which also led me to do an exchange semester at Korea University in 2019. Therefore, I am more than happy that I could return to South Korea and use the unique opportunity to work on this topic on-site at Hanns Seidel Foundation.”

→ “My name is Yuni Shin, and I am a rising senior (12th grade) at BCC Seoul located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. I was born and raised in Korea and am currently planning to go to university abroad. Internship at the HSF is a valuable experience to me, since I have a profound interest in Biology and Environmental Science. I’m also president of the MUN debate club, where I had the opportunity to investigate various international issues, including discussion on the reintegration of North and South Korea. I am grateful to be part of HSF as an intern, and I will do my best to contribute to the foundation.”

→ “My name is Yoonseo Jung, and I am currently a rising senior at Carbondale Community High School. I have a strong interest in international relations and global studies, particularly in the field of human rights and the vital work of the United Nations. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to intern at the Hanns Seidel Foundation, as I can actively engage in projects and activities that further deepen my understanding of these subjects and contribute to positive change on a global scale.”
