HSF Special Call II: “Ecology in the Inner Korean Border Area”

This year, Hanns Seidel Foundation collaborates with EAAFP Foundation on its Small Grant Programme with a Special Call on “Ecology and the Inner Korean Border Area.”

As part of the EAAFP Small Grant Programme 2021 – 2022, Hanns Seidel Foundation contributes through a Special Call aimed at civil society organizations in Korea who focus on ecology in the inner border area. HSF will provide grants for two projects which successfully pass the evaluation process which is conducted by the committee consisting of representatives from EAAFP, Incheon Metropolitan City, KOEN, and HSF Korea. Possible projects in the border area include, but are not limited to ecological research, monitoring of biodiversity, public awareness about biodiversity and ecosystems, and management of ecosystems and habitat.

The East Asian-Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP) Foundation launched its Small Grant Programme in 2020 with the purpose of supporting civil society organizations which aim to conserve migratory waterbirds and their habitats in the Republic of Korea by providing a small grant for the implementation of projects. Interested organizations can apply from August 2nd to August 22nd, 2021, until 23:59 KST. Applications can be submitted via email to foundation(at)eaaflyway.net.
