Guideline for Collecting and Reporting News about North Korea

The Institute for Peace Affairs (IPA) was established in 1983 for the purpose of specifying the vision of Unification on the Korean Peninsula through various research and studies of unification and North Korean issues. It has been a long-trusted partner of the Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea since 1989.

Now, the IPA has published a book titled "Guideline for collecting and reporting news about North Korea".

This book is based on the experiences of Kong Yong Cheol (KBS producer), Shin Seok Ho (Head of Digital News Department of DongA Ilbo), Wang Seon Taek (Journalist at YTN), and Jang Yong Hoon (Journalist at Yonhap News). These four professionals have in common that they are specialized in North Korean issues in their respective field. They have gathered to propose guidelines for collecting and reporting news about North Korea.
