Flyway Youth Forum 2020

Use the opportunity to globally connect with youth leaders, scientists, activists, artists, and conservationists in the East Asian-Australasian Flyway and join the Flyway Youth Forum 2020!

Program Information

Encompassing 22 countries, the East Asian–Australasian Flyway (EAAF) is one of the largest flyways in the world, being home to over 50 million migratory waterbirds of more than 210 species. To protect these birds, international collaboration is vital. Thus, in 2006, the East Asian — Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP) was founded, today consisting of 39 partners in all sectors to promote dialogue, cooperation, and collaboration among a range of stakeholders and being a major partner of HSF Korea.
Together with Youth Engaged in Wetlands (YEW), a global platform for young people to help support the mission of The Ramsar Convention on Wetlands, EAAFP is now hosting the Flyway Youth Forum 2020.

What? The aim of the Flyway Youth Forum is to provide opportunities and stages for the youth in the Flyway to share, learn, voice out, and lead the way for better changes in their communities under our mission by collaborating with each other embracing our Key-Message: “Connecting the Flyway Youth Leaders for Tomorrow”, where in the end of the event, the organizers hope to capacitate an active group of youth as agents for change and empower them in their journey to promote wetland and migratory waterbird conservation in the EAAF and worldwide.
