Building Bridges between Germany and Korea - Meeting with Rolf Gensecke

Dr. Bernhard Seliger, Representative of HSF Korea outlined HSF’s work, which focuses on the unification of Korea. However, in the meeting they mainly talked about partnerships and cooperation between German and Korean institutions. Gensecke currently is working on setting up such a partnership between his hometown Bad Harzburg and Cheorwon County, since both are sharing quite a similar history of division, as Bad Harzburg was and Cheorwon is still located in border area. Finally, a future Korean reunification was discussed pointing out how important dialogue and partnerships are.
