“Beyond Loss of Hometown to Integration – Korea and Germany” at Institute for Peace Affairs

In cooperation with the Institute for Peace Affairs (IPA), HSF hosted a conference on displacement and integration from German and Korean perspectives.

On the German side, the experts Hartmut Koschyk, member of the Bundestag for the CDU/CSU parliamentary group from 1990 to 2017 and chairman of the Working Group on Displaced Persons and Refugees from 2002 to 2005, and Thomas Konhäuser, scientific director and managing director of the Cultural Foundation of German Displaced Persons, spoke. The moderator was the president of the IPA, Jin Shin. On the Korean side, Joh Kyeongil, member of the National Assembly Secretariat, and student and activist Park Dong Chan shared their expertise.
