The focal points of discourse revolved around the SDGs related to the themes of food, education, environment, and gender. Furthermore, the second session delved into the prerequisites for the implementation of the SDGs, considering perspectives from government bodies, international organizations, and non-governmental entities.
Dr. Hyunah Choi, Senior Researcher at the Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea, presented the viewpoint of the NGO, with particular emphasis on the collaborative environmental initiatives conducted in partnership with experts and organizations on the Korean Peninsula, aimed at the realization of SDGs Goal 13, Goal 14, and Goal 17. The conference concluded in the afternoon, following a wrap-up roundtable session that provided all attendees with the opportunity to pose questions and engage in discussion. Most notably, the imperative need for international cooperation and dialogue emerged as a prominent outcome of the event.
