HSF GMACC Conference Brings Global Partners Together for Climate Initiatives
Start of the HSF GMACC Conference 2025 in Namibia
On 24 November 2025, the HSF GMACC Conference started in Windhoek, Namibia, bringing together partners from MENA, RSN, LATAM and Asia to share outcomes, exchange knowledge, and deepen understanding of each region’s climate initiatives.
HSF's GMACC project aims to grow into a global network where stakeholders can exchange experiences, build new contacts, and learn best practices from around the world. The broader goal is to strengthen this network over the coming months and years so that it can meaningfully contribute to global climate action and influence major international climate conferences. GMACC is designed as a multi-level initiative that integrates stakeholders at the global, regional, national, and local levels.
Dr. Hyun-Ah Choi from HSF Korea and Ms. Marina Koshkina from the Association for the Conservation of Biodiversity of Kazakhstan, HSF Korea’s GMACC partner, are also participating in the conference. Together, they will explore future directions to strengthen regional collaboration, address climate challenges, and support environmental conservation.
