On July 16, a group of students from Gwangyang, South Korea, visited the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Munich to learn about democracy education and the role of political foundations in Germany.

On July 16, 2025, a delegation from the city of Gwangyang in South Jeolla Province, South Korea, visited the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Munich. The group consisted of around 40 participants, primarily 8th-grade high school students, accompanied by several teachers and school inspectors from the South Jeolla Provincial Office of Education.

During their morning visit to the Hanns Seidel Foundation, the students attended a lecture by Veronika Eichinger, Head of Division for Northeast and Central Asia. The presentation, titled “Democracy and Political Foundations – The Example of the Hanns Seidel Foundation,” was followed by a discussion session.
