International Day of Living Together in Peace and HSF Korea’s Activity

Every year on May 16, the world celebrates the International Day of Living Together in Peace, a day dedicated to promoting tolerance, inclusion, understanding, and solidarity among individuals and communities.

These values align with our mission at Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Korea. For over thirty years, HSF Korea has actively supported initiatives that contribute to sustainable peace and democratic development on the Korean Peninsula and beyond. Our work has emphasised dialogue, capacity building, and cooperative platforms, bringing together diverse stakeholders from civil society, academia, government, and local communities.

Notably, we support dialogue-based capacity building for peacebuilding, including the inter-Korean cooperation.
