Meeting with Jeollabuk-do Ecotourism Sustainable Center

On September 18, 2020, Mr Park Jong-Seok, Chief Executive Officer of JBESC and his colleagues visited HSF Korea to discuss future cooperation – especially in regards to West/Yellow Sea conservation and the wise use of coastal wetlands and ecologically-associated habitats on the Korean Peninsula.

Jeollabuk-do Ecotourism Sustainable Center (JBESC, 전북생태관광) is dedicated to the protection of local environment resources. The center provides eco-experience and education to support people to value the environment more and to promote harmonious coexistence between nature and residents.
Dr Seliger and Dr Choi explained the activities of HSF including the status of the Yellow/West Sea Working Group on wetlands. HSF Korea and JBESC agreed to cooperate in the future.
