Environmental Restoration and Sustainable Inter-Korean Cooperation

On the 14th of January 2020 the Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea together with the Institute of Peace Affairs (IPA) and the UniKorea Foundation will be holding a conference on environmental restoration and sustainable inter-Korean cooperation on the Korean peninsula under the 31st Tongil Hanguk Forum (Korean Reunification Forum).

The central topics of the conference are Sustainable Development Goals, WASH activities of international NGOs and the associated inter-Korean cooperation. Professor Woo-Kyun Lee of the OJeong Eco-Resilience Institute (OJERI) Korea University will present about a north-south Korean cooperation concerning Sustainable Development Goals. The representative of Concern Worldwide Korea Jun Mo Lee will talk about WASH activities of international NGOs and inter-Korean cooperation. At last, Dr. Bernhard Seliger, the representative of HSF Korea will hold a presentation on sustainable inter-Korean cooperation. After the presentations a panel discussion with a following question and answer session is planned.

The conference will be held on the 14th of January 2020 form 01:00pm to 08:00pm at the Swiss Grand Hotel Conference Center Diamond Hall (3rd floor, Grand Hilton).
