Therefore, on November the 28th and the 29th the HSF Korea organizes a study field trip to Goseong.
The field trip starts off with a seminar co-organized by the DMZ Museum and supported by The UniKorea Foundation.
On the first day the participants join a Seminar on Environmental Restoration and Sustainability on the Korean Peninsula. The speakers include various experts from different environment related organizations such as the Hong Kong Bird Watching Society, the Korea Wildlife Institute, the Birds Korea, the Korea Federation for Environmental Movement and the Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea.
On the second day a bird survey will be conducted, in which we will mostly focus on the Seabirds living in the area. The field trip will then continue towards the border, where the participants will visit the Civilian Control Line and the Unification Observatory.
The HSF Korea organizes trip like these to raise awareness about endangered Birds and the conservation of species. The trip is free to attend. You can attend by pre-registering online.
