Hooded Crane International Photo Contest

Suncheon City hosts Hooded Crane International Photo Contest from September 13th to October 29th. This event is supported by Hanns Seidel Foundation Korea, EAAFP, and Ramsar Regional Center-East Asia.

The hooded crane, an international endangered species, is a symbol of Suncheon. Suncheon city and Hanns Seidel Foundation has closely cooperated to preserve the habitat of hooded cranes and promote inter-Korean ecological exchanges through hooded cranes.  Under the theme of “Hooded Crane, connecting the sky path of peace,” the contest will apply for pictures of hooded cranes in South Korea, North Korea, China, Japan, Russia, and Mongolia.

All people who love hooded crane can participate in the international photo contest. You can submit JPG files with more than 3,000 pixels on the long axis to hdrumi21(at)gmail.com. More information can be found on the website or by accessing the links below.
